Thankful: [adj] feeling or expressing gratitude; appreciative
I love this definition. It sums up a recent tugging on my heart. I am so grateful and honored by all that God has given me, and I am moved toward an expression of gratitude!
One of the biggest blessings is this funny-faced family of mine!
We are definitely a cast of characters, especially the NUT on the bottom. I am grateful to be in this family. I am grateful I chose a good man, and I am so thankful he is crazy about us. I want to express my gratitude for these sweet men by loving them well this Christmastime.
I won’t let myself become a “Winter Whiner” as I shop and wrap piles of gifts. I promise myself that I won’t be grinchy with the ones I love the most. In an effort to be blessed and not stressed this Christmas, I scoured Pinterest and blogs and created these cards to encourage fun family time. I want to pour myself into this family and our time together. Special thanks to Cara for the inspiration for many of these ideas.

Can you believe that? I did not ask, I did not complain, I simply told my blogging friends, “I was robbed today.” They were irate for me. They were brokenhearted. They sent me private messages, and then they did what seemed unthinkable. They collected money and gave me what had been taken and more. These women did not just give me an iPad. They gave me support. They made me feel important. They met me in a place of sorrow and they lifted me up. They showed me something that I have not seen in a long time… women supporting each other.
It was an act of kindness. One blogging friend told me, “So many people reached out Katie. They love you. “ And I felt it. I still do feel it. AND it still causes tears to well up in my eyes. They wanted me to be “blessed and not stressed”. It was pure kindness. They all blew a kiss in my direction and I was overwhelmed by their love. They reached out. They expressed love. They gave.
This blog has changed my life. I am so thankful for this little spot in cyber space. I have met amazing bloggers and I have met you. Your comments have taught me, encouraged me, and made me a better teacher. I have loved inviting you to take a peak into my classroom and it gives me “throw confetti in the air” kind of joy to share my creations with you. I want to express my gratitude to you by offering you 1 of 20 quality freebies.
Most importantly I am thankful for Jesus. What amazing love He showed us to be born, live, and die among us. What redeeming power He showed to rise from the grave and pave the way to heaven for us! I am in awe. I hope that my light can shine a little brighter this season as I give and serve. I want every RACK to honor Him!
