And the winners are…

Well before I get to the winners, I have to tell you this little tip! Target always seems to have cute wrapping paper in the $1 bins!  But the rolls are not very wide, so I pass them by.  That was until this idea hit me!
Wrapping Paper Bulltein Board

Use the wrapping paper in any way you like, but keep your scissors near by for cutting the paper off the roll. I always leave my scissors on my desk so I have to let the roll go all the way to the floor so I can go get them. I don’t forget my scissors some of the time, I do this every time! Every.Stinking.Time. It is actually one of the things that makes me think it’s a good thing I don’t have to hunt and gather my own food, because I would probably leave my bow and arrow at home.  Sometimes I go to Target and leave my purse in the car which is embarrassing at the check out stand. I also have left my wallet at Target several times.  I am super embarrassed telling you any of this, but I am keeping it real.

If you want to make a board that looks just like this, then grab some wrapping paper and this freebie from TpT. The Freebie on TpT even has the polka dot lettering you see on my board. I hope you enjoy it!

  1. Great idea to use wrapping paper for the bulletin board. I've always used fabric but that can get expensive to change out often. Have a nice weekend!

    1. I noticed the same thing, so I just bought one kind of fabric and I use it all year. Maybe my problem is that I'm too lazy to change it?! :-)

Something that is cheap and big? Tablecloths! I have 4 bulletin boards in my classroom that have tablecloths as the background. Less than $10, and they are actually pretty cute. :-) Plus, they're huge!

  2. Love your wrapping paper idea! So clever.

  3. LOOOOVE the wrapping paper. I'm so doing that ASAP! :)

  4. This is a great idea! How cute is that wrapping paper? Plus it's cheap, and they always have seasonal stuff! :-) Thanks for the awesome idea!
