Here is what made me uber happy over the last few weeks. We did a Double Digit Demolition Derby, and Oh My Word the kids about wet their pants with joy. No literally, one of my students was doing the pee pee wiggle in his chair while doing his math. I asked him if he had to go potty, he said yes but wanted to find out which car was today’s derby winner! How cute… (I did convince him to go potty.) This was what he was going crazy over. The car with the most regrouping is the winning car. I wrote more here if you are dying to know about 2 weeks of the best math ever!
I finally took some pictures of the cutest little Smart Art freebie! My students loved learning about birds and nouns at the same time. My students understood pronouns in a heartbeat using this booklet/art project.
Today I enrolled the kinderbear at my school. I cannot believe he is old enough to come to my school, and will be learning in the classroom next door. I mean who said he could grow up? This is his last night of Kindergarten homework. I am so proud of him… 180 sight words, fluent to ten in adding and subtracting, and reading! Praise the Lord my NICU baby did it.
I want to remind you about the Mystery Box! You WANT the Mystery Box!!!
